Gavi Rejects Manchester United Move as Barcelona Future Remains His Priority
Gavi has reportedly rejected the opportunity to join Manchester United, dealing the Premier League club another setback in its search for midfield reinforcements.
United had identified the Barcelona midfielder as a potential addition to Michael Carrick’s squad and were prepared to make a serious effort to bring him to England. However, Gavi has made it clear that his preference is to remain at Barcelona.
The decision comes at an important stage of the summer transfer window. United have already strengthened their midfield with Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos, but the club had continued looking for another player who could add energy and creativity to the position.
