NBA News: Bronny James play several preseason games and Lakers star Anthony Davis clears one thing.

Before the NBA season even starts, the Los Angeles Lakers are making history. LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, hit the court together, a first in NBA history for a father-son combo. Recently, Lakers star Anthony Davis weighed in on how Bronny looked in his first few outings.

Titans OC Nick Holz says that QB Will Levis ‘sees it well’ and that comforts the coaching staff.

After the Lakers’ 118-114 preseason loss to the Phoenix Suns, Davis spoke with Spectrum SportsNet, offering praise for Bronny’s showing in his first NBA games.

“He’s tough,” Davis said. “Obviously, he’s defensive-minded. Some great blocks in Game 1. The physicality, he gets over on screens. Good with his hands as far as deflection and steals. But he’s also still learning.”.

Davis said, “He’s still trying to figure it all out, so we got to realize that. He’s still a rookie. It’s a different style of basketball in the league. But I like what I’m seeing from him, both ends of the floor, especially defensively.

While Bronny’s stat line has yet to impress, his defensive expertise has shown well enough to make a lot of people take notice. Through the preseason so far, the 20-year-old has averaged 1.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game, shooting 14.3% from the field.
