Barcelona’s Camp Nou has been officially selected as the venue for the 2029 UEFA Champions League final, providing another major milestone for the famous stadium.
UEFA has also selected Munich’s Allianz Arena to host the 2028 final, while Madrid’s Metropolitano will stage the 2026–27 final.
For Barcelona, the 2029 decision is particularly significant because Camp Nou is currently undergoing a major redevelopment project.
The renovated stadium is expected to provide a modernised home for Barcelona while retaining the identity of one of football’s most recognisable venues.
The Champions League final will represent one of the biggest events to take place at the stadium after the redevelopment. It will also give Barcelona the opportunity to showcase the completed project to a global audience.
