Real Madrid continued their perfect start to the new LaLiga season with an impressive 4-0 victory over Málaga at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The home side wasted little time establishing control, with Jude Bellingham producing one of the highlights of the match. The English midfielder opened the scoring with a superb individual effort, immediately giving Madrid the advantage.
Madrid continued attacking and quickly doubled their lead. A chaotic situation inside the Málaga penalty area eventually resulted in an own goal from goalkeeper Alfonso Herrero.
Kylian Mbappé then added another before halftime, finishing a dangerous move involving Trent Alexander-Arnold. At 3-0, Madrid had effectively taken control of the contest.
Málaga attempted to respond after the break, but Madrid’s defensive organisation made it difficult for the visitors to create enough clear opportunities. Bellingham came close to adding another goal himself, but his effort struck the post.
Madrid eventually completed the scoring in added time through substitute Arda Güler. The young Turkish attacker finished a well-worked move to put the final touch on a dominant performance.
The result keeps Madrid at the top of the early LaLiga standings and maintains their perfect record. Three matches have now produced three victories, giving the club an excellent start to the campaign.
Bellingham’s influence was once again obvious. His ability to contribute goals from midfield adds another dimension to Madrid’s attack, while Mbappé continues to provide the explosive finishing expected from him.
There were also encouraging signs from the team’s defensive structure. Madrid controlled large portions of the match and prevented Málaga from turning their limited opportunities into genuine danger.
For Madrid supporters, the biggest positive is the overall balance of the team. They are creating chances, scoring goals and defending effectively.
There is still a long season ahead, but a perfect opening run provides an excellent foundation as Madrid prepare for increasingly difficult challenges in both domestic and European competition.
