Manchester United has rejected a “cheeky” offer for Marcus Rashford, with fans stunned by the low bid.

Manchester United have reportedly rejected a first offer for Marcus Rashford with fans fuming over the terms put on the table by the interested club.

Earlier in the week, Rashford made headlines after he confirmed during an interview with journalist Henry Winter that he was “ready for a new challenge and the next steps”.

 

The comments came after Ruben Amorim omitted Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho for United’s win over rivals Manchester City.

While Garnacho made a return to the matchday squad for their Carabao Cup defeat by Tottenham Hotspur, Rashford was nowhere to be seen.With the January transfer window just weeks away, Rashford will be heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

 

Now, it has been claimed that La Liga giants Barcelona have made a move to sign Rashford.

Image:Speaking about Rashford this week, United boss Amorim said: “We are better with Marcus Rashford, that is simple and we will try different things to push Marcus to the best levels he showed in the past.

 

“This kind of club needs big talent and he’s a big talent, so he just needs to perform at the highest level… I just want to help Marcus. He is right. We have here a new challenge, the biggest in football, we are in a difficult situation. I hope all my players are ready.

United are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
